Privacy policy
Last updated October 13, 2026.
The short version
Orthodox Day has no account and no ads, and it does not track you. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or reading history. Your settings stay on your phone.
What stays on your device
- Your church, Bible translation, font, text size and reminder times.
- Your saved readings.
- Daily reminders, which are scheduled on your phone. Nothing is sent from a server.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs your saved readings and settings between your own devices using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage. That data lives in your iCloud account, under Apple’s privacy terms. We cannot see it.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your purchase is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and the purchase receipt, and does not receive your name, email or Apple ID. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Photos
If you save a wallpaper, the app asks permission to add the image to your Photos. It can only add; it cannot read or see your photos.
Support
The Settings screen shows a random Support ID. It is not linked to your identity. If you write to us we receive the address you write from and what you tell us, and we use them only to reply.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- No selling or sharing of data.
Children
Orthodox Day is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
